On June 5^th, director general, Ms Li Lan of Nanjing Ethnic and Religious Bureau, Ji Qing, deputy director general, Xu Weimin, deputy inspector, and Shen Hongxiang, chief of the second division and Fang Jiuxiang, deputy section chief of ERB, accompanied by president Bao Jiayuan of YMCA, and president Li Enlin of YWCA to visit Cien Elderly Service Center run by Nanjing YMCA.

The leaders from ERB visited the staff and the elderly people living at this home. Nanjing YMCA runs this home through social service bidding, and getting attention and support from society since last November we undertook this home. Director general Li Lan confirmed the work during the period of trail running, and encouraged the staff.  Presidents Li Enlin, Bao Jiayuan, associate general secretary Zhao Dongshu, and director Hang Shaning made work report on the overall situation about the elderly home.  Director general Li highly valued the original office of Nanjing YMCA, and pointed our YMCA should develop the thought on work, and stand out the special service to create its own brand.  This visit strengthened our conception of “serving the society and benefitting the people”, and Nanjing YMCA will continue to exploit the area of service.
