Li Eglin, president of Nanjing YMCA led the elderly members of YMCA to call on Zhang Ruying, Wang AIli, a couple living in Zhongshan Nursing Home on April 9th afternoon.
Mrs. Wang was the deputy president of Nanjing YMCA, vice chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Women’s Federation. She had prepared and participated in the elderly fellowship meeting and activities for Nanjing YMCA actively, and involved in reception the foreign exchange activities many times, and had donated 3000 RMB to help the orphans and choir. Mr. Zhang had done lots of translation work for the YMCA silently.
Two elderly people live in the nursing home although, still with much concern about the development of Nanjing YMCA. They are excited when being told YMCA will run its own nursing home, and offering some constructive suggestions and advice.
