On the afternoon of Sept. 18, 16 PM, led by the new deputy chief of ERB, Mr. Wang Jian, a group of six people came to Nanjing YMCA to have his first informal investigation. President Li Enlin led all the staff of YMCA welcome the visiting leaders, and made a brief about the service and projects conducted by Nanjing YMCA and the circumstance and condition we are encountering—our daily expenditure is only relying on the management fee from the project and the bank interest from financial product we bought. And hoped that new leader in charge of supervising YMCA would support our service and would help us solve the problem of getting back our original office building, because this hinders the sustainable development of Nanjing YMCA. Deputy chief Wang Jian said, “come back to YMCA this time, make me feel everything is new: new features, new staff, new service and new performance” after hearing the report from Li Enlin, he confirmed the achievement YMCA has made are recognized by the society and related department of the government. The ERB will continue to promote the development of YMCA with the staff of Y, and would solve the problem of “self-sufficient”, especially getting back the original office.
At end of conversation, president Li Enlin expressed her grateful for the encourage and care from the leaders, and YMCA/YWCA would reward the concerns of the supervised leaders by better performance.
