In the afternoon of June 13th, there was full of joy and happy in the community service center of Chengxiajie, XieJiekou. Good Samaritans from Americaorganized by Nanjing YMCA came to Chengxiejie community to have a party with the elderly; even there is barrier of language communication, the foreigners still kept active to talk with the elderly Chinese.  What’s more, they performed dance and folk songs ofAmericato these people. They brought fresh cake and cookies made by them to the people they first met. 

 Secretary Wu Min of community CPC pointed out that Chengxianjie Community warmly welcome the oversea students have party with local elderly people, which made the activity with international culture.  Local community will provide support to this kind of activity.  Mr. Zhao Tongshu, associate general secretary said in his speech that to sever the community is one of our projects; the oversea students provide service to local people will make them known better about china and Chinese people. Meanwhile the service enriches their life; on the other hand, the interactive activity opens the vision of local elderly people.
