The 2015 "12.4" National Constitution Day and National Law Publicity Day takes the theme of "Promoting the spirit of the constitution, to promote the innovation, coordination, sustainable development, openness, and sharable development within the whole society." This series of promotional activities last from late November to mid-December in last year. The Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Conmmunist Party , the Ministry of Justice together with the National Popularization of Legal Knowledge office issued “The notification of carrying out the series of promotional activities about the National Constitution Day and National Law Publicity Day.”
At the morning regular meeting, January 11, 2016, Nanjing YMCA president and general secretary Liu Dechang led all staff to study the Constitution together. The extension of the study meeting to this week appeared because of too much work in last December.
After we read through the related content of the Constitution , we recognized that we should focus on the theme of “Making the constitution into the whole society ‘s common faith" , strengthen our study to have a deeper understanding of the citizens' legitimate rights, and improve our consciousness of obeying as well as defending the constitution. Related electronic draft has been uploaded to Nanjing YMCA’s QQ group for every staff to download and continue learning it.
Finally, this study had a good effect with a simple way which is easy to be operated. It not only helped us reviewed the knowledge of constitution, but also deepened the importance of studying, mastering the constitution in Nanjing YMCA staffs’ minds.
