The first session of Sports meeting with fun for the mentally handicapped was held cooperatively by Home of Grace(the subdivision of Nanjing YMCA), Ningxin Sunshine Home and Guxin Sunny Home at the first centralprimary schoolofGuloudistrict on July 17^th, 2014.  The vice president of council of Gulou District Disabled Federal, Mr. Bi Bing, Mr. Tang Baogeng, director of Gulou District Disabled Federal; Mr. Jiang Xianling, president of council of Huaqiao Road community and vice president of council of Home of Grace, Mr. Hang Shaning were presented. 

The sports meeting was started at 9:30 in the morning, Mr.bi, vice president of council of Gulou District Disabled Federal made key speech. The race was begun at 9:40, including tyre relay, pingbang ralay, hula hoop roller coaster, the stars changing in position and funny bowling, five sports events. 

During the process of the race, all the delegations of each group took positive to participate the game, and followed the rules and arrangement; listened to the referees and respected the rivals; cooperative and team work to practice the concepts of Youth Olympic “Remarkable, Friendship and Respect”. The games and the participants are demonstrated that the participation of the mass to the big event “2014 YOG” inNanjing. 

Everyone is respectable and has right to live in the world.  We hope that the series of activities of sports carnival will stimulate the special children to live positively; to demonstrate the active spirit outlook and life attitude of these special group of people and family to the society, in order to make the society know about and understood the special children, and to make the public figures with love to care and help the life of them, to make them live under the sunshine and with happy just like the normal kids.
