Orphan Assistance Project is one of our scholarship assistance projects conducted by Nanjing YWCA, sponsored by HK APIAA also.  The aim of the project is to provide basic living needs and education cost for the impoverished orphans in rural areas.  Since 2010 it started, we have supported 3095 orphans distributed from 23 counties inAnhui,Jiangsu,Shandongand Ningxia.  Sponsoring one orphan one year needs 1620 HK dollars. Every year, there are over 100 orphans graduated from middle school or high school, in which, more than 10 students will enter college and gain our continuing support of College Student Scholarship Project or named Torch Project.

Now, this project can not cover the orphans or the dropout students all overChina, and only with financial assistance from HK APIAA.  So we hope that people with compassion and care from all over the society donate and support this project.

Support one orphan from primary school to high school needs 2000 RMB. You can donate the money online through our website, or you can come to our office to know more about the project and handle the procedure of donation. We conduct social service transparently, and will publish all the details about using the fund.
